2024 - What I sowed today

I sowed far too many varieties of DFB and a few of CFB. As the bean rows caused great concern in the winds last year I'm concentrating on DFBs this year. Rondo, Atlanta, Montano, Fandango, Mascotte, Organdi with a few Nautica chucked in for good measure. Just 10 of each.

I sowed lots of short rows of carrots.
Nantes, Nerac, Sort 'n Sweet, Chantenay red cored 3, Amsterdam Forcing, Topweight, Gold Nugget there may be others as I think I have forgotten one. Last year's carrots were a dismal failure, fingers crossed for this year.

I've started sowing an Alphabet of CFBs. Sowing 10 of each unless there are less than 10 seeds left in the packet, when they're all sown. Some are old so I'm not crossing my fingers for all of them to grow, but if they do, I'll squeeze them in somewhere Wink
So far sown:-
Abundance (from Real Seeds 2019)
Bob & Mary (from a swap in 2020) All sown.
Blue Lake ?
Blauhilde (sow by 2021) All sown.
Buckeye Fall (from a  swap in 2021) All sown.
Birds Egg (HSL 2021)

EDIT
Sowed some Cs & Ds too!
Cherokee Trail of Tears (from a swap grown in 2018)
Chinese Red Noodle Beans (sow by 2013)
Coco Blanc a Rames (from JJB 2023. Big Grin)
Cobra (sow by 2024!!)
Cosse Violette (sow by 2023)
District Nurse (2018 & 2021)

I like the coco beans dried. They suit me, I believe the other name for them is Lazy Housewife, so appropriate in this house Smile
