2024 - What I sowed today

Onions - Yellow Sweet Spanish, Rijnsburger & Golden Bear F1.
Four seeds to a module, 8 modules of each.

Rijnsburger have germinated but no sign of the other two. They're in the bedroom at room temperature (that's cold without the heating on).

Sowed again as the Compost went like concrete. Also sowed two types of sweet peppers.

Dug out the heated propagator and sowed some peppers:

5 x sweet pepper Jimmy Nardello
5 x sweet pepper Corno di Toro Rosso
5 x sweet pepper Redskin F1
2 x chilli Basque
2 x chilli Sugar Rush Stripey

The Redskin and Sugar Rush Stripey are both new to me.

There was space for one more pot so I also sowed an Early Czech aubergine.
 

This morning I sowed some more pepper seeds after the first lot didn't do very well. This time I used fresh seed from Sea Spring:
- Early Jalapeno
- Bell Boy (sweet pepper, green then red)
- Tequila (sweet pepper, violet then yellow/orange then red)
The two sweet peppers are new varieties for me, have to see how they do.

I also sowed some more Globo onions, also using fresh seed from Real Seeds because I only got 8 seedlings out of the first lot.

Finally I did some half-hardy annuals, Swan River Daisies and Laurentia, free seeds from a magazine. Because every seed deserves a chance.
