A busy day but not really achieved anything very noticeable. This morning was loading up the trailer to go to the tip.
you can just about see the trailer being filled. Mostly took photo because sun was on the house.
While Bob did the tip run. I tidied up a bit outside. Then started clearing the bathroom and utility for floor laying. Managed to get the radon barrier in position in the bathroom. Was dark when I’d finished ( unsurprisingly it’s dark by 4.30 )
Couldn’t help taking a photo .
Tomorrow’s first job will be taping the radon barrier down.

P asks what sort of heat source you've chosen, a gas/leccy boiler, air/ground source heat pump?

Under floor heating will be hot water heated by electric ( mains / solar combo ). MVHR ( mechanical ventilation heat recovery) and possibly/ probably an air source heat pump.

He says thank you and is envious and very interested in how you get on . I glazed over at MVHR
