Has anyone tried or grown pineapple strawberries? They came up in conversation this evening. I didn’t know they were a thing. After googling. Plants are available. Just wondering if anyone has experience of them. They appeal to me. I like pineapple & I can grow strawberries

Are they the white ones? Called Pineberry, I think. If so, I grew them once but they didn't impress. In fact, I think they'd died by the follwing year. They were small, too, more like wild strawberries than the bigguns.

I haven't grown them myself, however a lot of gardeners I watch on YouTube have and every single one of them has ended up removing them.
