Yesterday was a cucumber, 4 courgettes (plus 2 monsters) and a big bowl of black currants. Today, 2 more cucumbers, a lot of peas and gooseberries. Not sure what to do with all the cherries, about 4kg in the freezer, 1 more in the kitchen and loads on the 2 trees. Nearly got enough soft fruit for my morning porridge in the coming year (target 21.9kg @ 60g. per day. Might need an extra 60g as it's a leap year).
Cherry trees, what to do with all the cherries?
The peas on one side of the patch are yellowing prematurely. No idea of the cause, could be underground action of some sort, a desease, they just don't like that bit of soil, any ideas?
The clump of onions in the foreground are a variety called up-to-date which should provide lots of seeds for next year.

Cucs, courgettes beans, tomatoes 2 bloody butcher , 1 cherokee purple and 3 and a half litres of raspberries. Rain showers stopped play after lunch so went out after dinner. Everything was drippy wet and the raspberries won't keep but as wall to wall rain is forecast all day tomorrow it was worth getting bitten by midges.
