Are you holding a flower on a stem, and is the parent plant the low growing one below?
Can't get my head round the size or the flower!
My first thought was portulaca.

It’s just a creeping buttercup with a funny fat stem. I’ve seen that fat stem on things before. It’s probably got a name.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

I think you're right, SC. Looks like some buttercup leaves, bottom right of the stem.

Yep - I think it’s a buttercup on a weird swollen stem.
Self sown in a crack in the paving.
