Yet more Pam’s split foxgloves. Some have got to germinate. The seeds aren’t that old!

I plan to put some sweetcorn to chit and rummage through the seed swap box for things to start off.

Sown some CFBs. Its time to stop playing with old seeds and hoping they'll germinate - I've sown some fresh seeds - Meraviglia di Venezia, Smeraldo, Supermarconi, Borlotto lamon, - all from Franchi.

Pumpkin Challenge 2023 Shall be interested to see how they do. I sowed twenty tagetes lemon gem and twenty daucus in 3 inch pots of John Innes seed compost and the same in neat unadulterated topsoil as a sacrificial tester.
The seeds were saved from my own plants from last year.
They were treated exactly the same.
The JI compost produced just four lemon gems and two daucus.
The topsoil produced fourteen and twelve seedlings.
Of course, there is still time for the JI to produce more, but it doesn’t look too hopeful.
