Trying these in my local garden centre stuff “Mother Earth”.
Running out of compost to try! I’ve always used Mother Earth. It’s pretty much the only one I can get on the island. I’ve always found it brilliant. Cheers SC - always good to get a recommendation.

Running out of compost to try! What issues are you having? Im definitely finding things trickier. Im getting lots of damping off. I try not to water too much but its either bone dry or soaking.
Seeds seem to germinate ok , but then just go yellow and die.
Have potted on good established plants with a pot full of roots from a 3 inch pot to a four and a half or five inch pot.
Again.. foliage yellows after a fortnight, and then the plant dies. Tipping out the pot of dead stuff shows that the roots haven’t even tried to go into the new compost.
I’m now keeping notes of what works and what doesn’t, but it’s all very confusing. Some brands work for seeds, and doesn’t for potting on , and vice versa.
As SC said, Mother Earth looks good so far.
The YouTube videos about different composts that TMTT recommended were really good.

I've had my first day of being in the garden! I've tidied up a bit, and managed to sow a bit too:
Three kinds of tomato, maybe four
Cucumber
Acquilegia
Some other flowers
Kale - three kinds
More tomorrow. There's no stopping me now

Cucumber La Diva. I popped these into the propagator to chit last night and they had already germinated when I checked today..
I find myself chitting any large seeds these days as it's so quick and I can plant just one seed per module/pot.
