Don’t encourage him  Big Grin . We’d be done a lot quicker if it wasn’t for so many tea breaks  Rolleyes .

What a milestone! Think of the blood, sweat and tears you've gone through to get this far and pat yourselves on the back. What's next on the agenda? Apart from selling the scaffolding.

More fencing so we can get our potatoes planted.
we’re looking into options for the porch cladding at moment. We wanted stone which is on the building warrant. But finance won’t allow. So we’re re looking at our very original idea. Which the architect instantly said no to.
On the days Bob is working I can be laying the radon barrier and insulation inside and play in the garden.
next big thing is treatment plant. Definitely have to sell scaffolding first.

What do you think now ?

I quit like it  Big Grin .

All the scaffolding came down today. Got counted, photographed and posted on the local buy & sell group.

I need to know what you're thinking of doing with the porch. Big Grin

Still stone. But more round stones from the beach  Blush . I’m sure we’ve seen such things on the island and we’ve definitely seen it on grand designs. But architect said no because it wasn’t self supporting?! So we dropped the idea. But we’re having another look at it. Because we really don’t want to go with the block & rendering that is our cheaper option.

Could you clad it, like the rest of the house or would that be a variation to the planning permission?
