Acquired some Yellow Tree Peony seeds, collected 2 days ago and a packet of undated T&M Vaccinium macrocarpon/Cranberry seeds.

My nearest Homebase have reduced some of their pots of narcissi.
Not the standard Tete a tete (sorry to those who like them, but they’re sold in every shop!!) but more interesting little things Quail, Pipit, Martinette, Sundisc. Reduced from four pounds to one pound per pot. Got one of each, but now wishing I’d bought more.
Not worth a special trip though.

Very nice selection veggie. Is Chinese Angelica a thug?

Not sure about it being a thug but I'm also not sure what use I'd have for it. I was talking to the grower, who had all his seeds spread out on a table, about different things I'd grown and liking the unusual and he said "I bet you haven't grown Chinese Angelica" and waved a packet of seeds under my nose. What else could I do but take them?
They sound more herbal medicine than edible . need to do more research.

Not convinced I want to grow Chinese Angelica https://pfaf.org/user/Plant.aspx?LatinNa...a+sinensis
The seeds will go back into another seed swap - unless you want them SC?

No thanks Veggie. That doesn’t sound very appealing.

Chinese angelica sounds positively horrid, but then again laburnum and foxgloves might do too if you looked at their properties.

The nasty stuff in Chinese Angelica is the same stuff as in parsnips and giant hogweed. I've never reacted badly to touching parsnip foliage myself, but some people get terrible blisters after coming in to contact with these chemicals and the skin is exposed to sunlight.

I have that problem with ordinary hogweed - don't get blisters but a rash on my arms. Another reason to send these seeds on to the next seedswap.
