LOTS!! but really I've no idea, never been to, or organised, a seed swap. Perhaps if you go back to them plugging the fact it's the first and really exclusive seed swap on the island with the number of likely people turning up, and that Franchi will be we'll advertised, they will send you what they consider right.
PS do you think you have room for the 10 or so g&g seed swappers (+P) all turning up on say 10th March, we'll bring our own seeds and maybe a tent or two. ........don't panic only joking, I'd never get P in a tent!

You could say that, since its the first swap you have very few seeds to begin with so would be grateful for whatever they can donate.
I couldn't put a number on it!

JJB plenty of space for tents .
It was Franchi that asked. They also asked how many people were expected.
My reply was we’d probably consider it a success if 100 plus came though the door. And I asked if 15 to 20 packets of seeds was ok or if that was to cheeky? Followed very quickly by the swap would be very grateful for just 1or 2 packets ( in case 15/20 was to many ) . Also saying I’d not really got an idea as it was the first ever. And I’d leave it to their better judgment.
What I wanted to say was just send me all of them . I resisted, but it was a struggle.
You can’t go round asking a seedaholic how many seeds they want and expect a sensible answer .

Have you tried Moles Seeds? At this morning's Swap they had huge packets of Sprouting Seeds from Moles that they were splitting. None of the organisers were on the Seed Swap stand so I couldn't ask how they'd got them. Might be worth an email!

The seeds the forum has donated to the swap have finally arrived. I was starting to worry. I’ll take photos when they’re all split and labelled. Still waiting for the seed envelopes to arrive.
13 packets of seeds arrived from Mr Fothergill’s for the swap.
A huge surprise was the arrival of 100 packets of seeds from seed parade!

Wow! Seed Parade are generous.
Do you think they'd believe me if I said I was starting a seed swap?

Do you think they'd believe me if I said I was starting a seed swap? No harm in trying . You’ve probably got most of them because a lot were seeds from the recent mystery seed pack collection. There was lot of other things as well. Some great stuff.
