A flipping cold, damp windy day. But got lots more cladding on with help from a friend.
Putting windows in was a big mile stone but wasn’t very physical or feel like much of an achievement ( that probably sounds nuts ! ). Getting back to cladding really felt like we were getting somewhere.

I'm not sure I can relate to that SC - the windows make the house water tight to me, which is a huge step forward! It is all beautiful none the less

got some more cladding done today. Could of done more but the nail gun really doesn’t like playing in the rain. But then I’d prefer not to

Sounds like you'll be disappointed when all the cladding is complete.

It’s ok, there’s lots more cutting and nailing to do inside

And then next bombshell has hit!!!!!!!
Just found out we have to be out of here by the end of July.
To be favour the landlords have been very good to us. They could of kicked us out 18 months ago when the brought the place or put our rent up.
So we’ll be in a Caravan on site. We knew it would probably happen at some point. And it will save us money on rent. It’s still a bit of a oh **it moment!

There's nothing like a bit of pressure to spur you on. I think your house will be almost livable in by the end of July.

Wow, that's a bit of a bombshell too SC! So I'd focus on getting plumbing sorted internally for toilet, bath and sink. The rest can be done at some point. Wow. The pressure.
