Oh, what a night!!
Hearing reports of local damage - one of the ancient beech trees in the woodland across the road is down, the Taff has flooded over the parkland. I haven't ventured down the garden to see if everything has survived. Maybe, when the rain eases off!

You've had it worse than us, we just had heavy, but not destructive wind and rain all night. I was very pleased at bedtime that we sleep in the back of the house as it was very noisy at the front.
This morning is better than expected, Thursday is shopping day and I was anticipating heavy rain all day but whilst it's not dry, it's not chucking it down.
Are all the gh OK?

The sun came out this afternoon and I paddled down the garden looking for damage. Small branches and some dead wood on the ground but nothing major to worry about. The GHs are OK, fortunately, as the wind and rain have returned and it looks like another night like last night. Sad

Some damage from last night but nothing that can't be sorted. Patio furniture took a trip up the garden, potted plants blown over, storage box top blown off and seed trays distibuted around the garden. All sorted now though.  Smile

Bright, cold and breezy day today,  but not too bad, especially when both me and Kato are sat around the log burner after a long walk Big Grin

Most of the chicken run roof has been shredded by the wind but there's no chance of putting a tarpaulin over it while its so windy. Hope there's a dry spell tomorrow for some remedial work.
