Share with us the First time you see, feel, taste or experience something in 2023.
It can be as simple as the first snowdrop, butterfly or slug or eat your first Easter egg. First picnic or BBQ and so on.
For example, today I saw my first Woodpecker of 2023 on the peanut feeder.
The Moneyless Chicken says:- Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
I saw my first sparrowhawk of 2023 numerous times today, hovering, fairly low close to where I was walking Kato. I didn't see it dive and catch anything but will watch for it in future as it seems to have a patrol and hover strategy over a given area!

Me too! I saw one on the way to work today, hovering over the field.
Last year I spotted a shrub somewhere that had very early pink flowers. I looked it up and it was Viburnum x Bodnantense Dawn. I had to have one and bought a small plant online. This morning I noticed its first pink flowers (It doesn't look much now in among wallflowers) so I am looking forward to it growing and hopefully giving me a good show next year!
