I think a lot of them would be to woody to eat at that size. The onions look good. A massive batch of onion soup with very little peeling needed. Awesome.  Big Grin

Interesting guy, and sized veg! I'm not sure I'd want to have conversations with famous people about my growing though. That would draw far too much attention to me. I grow veg for me. The process is for me, the produce for me and my family.

Growing for show really is a whole different ball game isn't it? I'd never thought of the difference really.

I saw this and it got me thinking my pumpkin will be closer to the onion than the pumpkin in the article...
