I bet that lead flashing got very hot when the sun got on it!  I put some on my flat roof joint and you could fry an egg on it!  (If you were so inclined of course)

Today I’ve contacted 8!! Window companies. 3 won’t come anywhere near Mull. 4 more I’m waiting to hear back from. 1 is working out a quote, just one! My tiny little brain if fried.
They’re 2 more companies I can try but I really don’t want to. One have very limited choices. The other is Everest. Friends have had an horrendous experience with the local branch.

Can you get them made on the mainland and collect and fit them yourselves?

We want to fit them ourselves. We’d like them delivered. But if we have to arrange collection then we will.
