Don't laugh...........promise?
Picked my first DFBs today - 8 in total. Big Grin
They were planted in a little trough, intended to be grown in the GH for an early crop - but were turfed out, stuck on top of another planter and forgotten. Now they've decided to grow and are really healthy.
Eight beans may be a bit pathetic but, since none of the CFBs are even flowering, they're a real treat.

Wautoma cucumber (Real Seeds)
Picked it at about 6" long. The skin was a bit thick (its an indoor or outdoor cucumber), but peeled it was very good, juicy and sweet.

Would you grow it again?

The first sweetcorn of the season, huge, long, well filled cobs. Variety Picasso sown 29 April. They are earlier than the Swift which are coming along nicely but not quite ready. I'll try to remember to take a pic of the next ones. Last evening I spent too much time pootling up the garden and dinner was a little later than normal, so no time for photography.

It looks quite productive - plenty of cucumbers on their way. Doing a lot better than Beth Alpha this year which were a failure. Ask me again later in the year.
