2022 - How's Your Weather Today?

Its rained here of and on all day giving the garden a good soaking.

We had about an hours heavy rain which was very welcome, shame I'd just put out our huge 5m lounge curtains to dry.

Raining, off and on, here this morning. Every little helps................
Sorry about your curtains JJB. I'm sure a good rinse in rain water will freshen them up .

Just cloudy today but warm enough not to need a jumper.

Hot, dry and windy so excellent for washing and drying the gîte laundry, less good for the drought.
I look at 2 forecasts, the first gives us no rain and only one day below 30 for the next fortnight. The second, the threat of storms over the weekend and a few cooler days.

^^^ I think I'd choose storms and cooler my old mum used to say she listened to radio solent rather than the local radio because it had nicer weather forecasts, not sure she ever determined which one was accurate

Rain all morning and quite heavy too (yay!), then the clouds broke up and we had sunshine this afternoon. Just a shame I had no energy to go out to sit in the sun

38 yesterday but luckily the threatened 22 overnight was actually a very pleasant 15 by this morning. Due to be hotter and sunny all day today, but I see little floaty white clouds and they might keep the heat down a little.
