Some strange ideas for saving money there!
If you dictate what you want for presents you still have to buy presents to give back. Close family used to ask what we wanted and we'd do the same for them - until we realised how pointless it was and decided to buy our own presents because, that way, we'd get exactly what we wanted.
"Don't buy nail varnish remover but let it chip off" - Why varnish your toe nails in the first place if you're happy to go round with chipped nails?
I agree with Mark about candles - not cheap and you'd have to carry them from room to room - Hazardous!! If she wants to be frugal, buy a hat/headband with a USB rechargeable light in it. I have one I use to go down the garden after dark to the chicken run. Whatever you may think, I' don't wear it indoors apart from the time when we had a power cut when it was very useful.
I reuse herb tea bags several times and chuck a few fresh leaves on top when they're getting low on flavour. Eight times isn't possible - it would be hot water. When all my free teabags run out, I'll be using herbs from the garden.
Did she say one bar of soap lasts months?????
The final straw for me was that she records it on a spreadsheet. The evenings must fly by.

The Moneyless Chicken says:-
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.
