Similar to Jen, bit of rain first thing but dry enough to strim the nettles and docks by 11. A proper downpour is always forecast in about 5 days time. I'll have a hosepipe out again tomorrow for the peas, onions, beans and potatoes.

Overcast all afternoon but no rain to speak of. Definitely getting the hosepipe out in the morning, even the weeds are drooping.
The met office has been forecasting heavy rain all afternoon and still gives heavy rain overnight but I can't see it happening.

The only saving graces are the allotment veg are geting a good watering and my water butts are getting re-filled.! Rain through the night and sunshine through the day would be nice, but can't really complain too much.

Sunny this morning with no promises of decent rain, like Mark I'm having to resort to hosepipe and grey water. The pond is at least 5" below its normal level and the grass is starting to crackle. Thankfully the temps aren't too high......yet.

Thunderstorms last night, dank drizzle today, a very chilly 15 degrees. What a crazy 'summer' so far.

Well I didn't get the hosepipe out as was too busy and it had rained a little overnight. Then we had a reasonable shower yesterday afternoon but soil is still dry below the potato leaves in places. I'll be digging up more potatoes and garlic tomorrow so will see then if the hose i needed.

Some rain overnight, dry this morning, rain again this afternoon. Not what you'd call hot though................maybe July will be sunny?
