Meet Hetty!

Aww Danny that’s so good of you to take on Hetty, she is beautiful and I’m sure she is going to have a brilliant life with you. Kudos to you for taking on an oldie!! x

So our previous 2 dogs were pure breed staffs, 30 years between them, however weighty so not great jumpers.

Our little princess Hetty is a staffy/terrier cross and looks more like a long legged Jack Russel, and she can bounce.

Anyway we popped out yesterday leaving the cooked chicken in a bag on the kitchen top(you know where this is going). I stayed out for a bit, Alison called a while later asking where I'd put the chicken. So long story short it was gone, no evidence it had been eaten in the house, anywhere! 

It was in a plastic bag but again no evidence.

Anyway todays walks confirmed Hetty had eaten it!

We popped out again today however just before we left Alison said she keeps sniffing around the basket with the hats and gloves in, yup we found the plastic bag with a 1/3 of the chicken left!

Well done Hetty, I bet you have a few more tricks up your "sleeve" too. Clever girl.

We were impressed Veggie and not knowing her history she probably learnt to hide bits when she was a stray? 

Anyway we love her to bits

Good instincts Hetty, trouble is your humans are unlikely to leave aything tasty out on the counter now.

haha Clever Hetty! I adopted a rottie boy that had not been graced with any kind of discipline until he came to me, and he thought it was fine to grab whatever he liked off the kitchen worktops. Entertaining until you go hungry lol

My brother has a rescue CaneCorso who can pinch food off the work surface without standing on her back legs. Now, all food has to be put in the oven (cold) or in a wall cupboard to keep it safe.
I rang him once and while we were talking his steak, that he was about to cook for tea, made a runner down the garden! Needless to say, it was my fault.
