2022 = What I harvested today

I have had my first ever broad bean harvest! They were definitely baby broad beans asI probably picked them a bit young. I will let the rest of the pods get a bit bigger. This harvest amounted to about 8 forkfuls of beans, steamed in the microwave and eaten with a little pat of butter. Lovely Smile
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!

3 cherries! The first for several years. The net bags were a success, there won't be many but each one will be savoured.

I often pick the pods small (about little finger size) and eat them like runner beans, pods and all. They're not furry inside at that stage.

I have furtled up my first potato of the year. I'm not sure what the variety is - my seed potatoes were my Mum's leftovers and I don't remember what she gave me. Not a lot of flavour in this one though, so I should try to find out what it is!
