The rain has arrived but not before there was a magnificent double rainbow and I could see the complete arc apart from where it touched the ground! Pity really as I was all set to rush off and find those 4 crocks of gold.

I was really looking forward to some rain last night but it was only a sprinkle, nothing useful at all, and it looks like the showers are going to miss us today too. quite windy though.

Cold and windy today - such a change after yesterday's heat.

More storms tonight after an overcast but warmish 23 degree day; hopefully the hail will keep away. Not far away they had monster hail stones, one guy was shown just about fitting three into his hand, and it went straight through a car sunroof!

Oooh, I'm jealous Bren, once again the promised overnight showers came to nothing here, I would love a day of rain. Its mild and overcast today.

Its damp - not really rain, just that fine stuff that covers you in little misty bobbles.

Raining all morning here. I should definitely have done all the strimming on Friday!
Lots to be done in the garden, but I also have lots of work stuff to do, so it may be a good thing that it's rainy right now. Especially as I haven't got going properly yet today as I've showered, got some laundry going (still in the bathtub), and then spoken with my Mum on the phone about the funeral next week. Don't really feel much like doing work now, but hopefully if I get it done now then I can do a bit in the garden if there's a break in the rain later.
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!
