I'd have to add an extra task then - Vinny -
"Find Spreadsheet"
Maybe "Update spreadsheet" as well.

Started off day baking bread. Then improved support for peas and hoed round them. Then found bits of cane to support net over a bed of strawberries but need to transplant a few before netting. Not sure it's worth growing strawberries in beds here. the netting keeps birds off but has no effect on mice and squirrels or slugs for that matter.

Moved a few more plants to the cooler tunnel.
Weeded the bed ready for beans.
Worked out I’ve got so so many things that need potting on.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Yesterday cleared the last of the chard, plus all the old borage and poppies that have finished.
Pruned the vines.
Cut the grass for a client at a beautiful water mill. I got to push the mower on the lawns and managed not to fall in any of the water while MrPP hurtled around the meadow on the tractor with the flail!
Today sorted out all the plants that boiled in the garage while we were away. I think we have lost about ⅔ of them. Sorted out the sow list.
Planted up the new bank bed.
Cut new bamboo poles.

1. Pull up more chard and spinach seeding plants from the GH to make space for the last of the tomatoes.
2. Find an out of the way corner to replant the chard and spinach in the garden
3. Weed/clear the out of the way corner to replant the plants
4. Get sidetracked into pulling up dock or creeping buttercup or sticky willie.
5. Dump weeds in bin or on bonfire.
6. Pull up more weeds on way to bin/bonfire.
7. Go and talk to tadpoles and look for legs
8. Count courgettes and have inner discussion about whether to pick one to eat tonight or not.
9. Go back to house for a coffee/toilet break.
10. Pass GH and remember what I started doing.
11. Leave it until tomorrow.
I can identify with that Veggie, there is so much to do it's difficult to know where to start. I start off with a vague plan which goes out the window the moment I get outside. Then P wants feeding! It's so unreasonable of him.

Yesterday's brief foray into the garden after the weekly shop and a late lunch resulted in planting out some busy lizzies in the 'coffin bed', a long narrow bed alongside the front steps. Planting out my Farmer Gracy begonias, they took ages to arrive. Discovering and remedying rodent incursion. Supporting a large peony and poppy with linkstakes to stop them flopping over. Watering.

Finally, I've planted all of the tomatoes in the GH.
I did all the other stuff on my List too.
Bronwen Brown Hen was "helping" me to plant out the Chard from the GH, scratching away to clear the weeds and so forth. Suddenly, she ran away, towards the chicken coop at the other end of the garden. Half way there she squatted and started wittering to herself. I "ran" to her and she headed off again to the coop. As soon as I got there, I opened the gate and she threw herself into the nest box to lay an egg. It was all over in a couple of minutes!
Its an awful feeling when you just have to "go" and there's nowhere convenient nearby.
