Very pleasant about 18’C, mild breeze and not to bright a sunshine still needed to wear my sunglasses to help with my hay fever.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Just like the thing! Yesterday, it took ages setting up the hosepipe and giving all my potted plants a good soaking. Today it is absolutlety chucking it down with rain!

We've actually had the promised rain, butts are full and the overflow from them is going into the pond. It might take a while before that is back to original level though. Thunder and lightning last night.

A very pleasant 26 today, a relief for both the plants and the planter!
No rain in the long term forecast, and mid thirties from tomorrow until Friday; given that these are July temperatures, I fear what the summer might bring.

Quite a nice day here - sunshine and intermittent clouds. It's chucking it down the other side of the Humber apparently, so I'm pleased with us being able to cut most of the lawn tonight.

We had some goodly rain in the past week with some warmer days, so everything (except what I want) is growing madly. We're having coldish nights though.
Last night was 2.8 in the gh on 1st June!
