Strimmed the vegetable garden paths and around the shed area. Strimmed the front outside the gates.
Weeded the new rose of sharron bushes, which have turned out to be the ground cover not bush variety that I wanted.
Weeded the gravel in front of the gates.
Pruned pink shrubby honeysuckle and used the bigger bits as pea sticks. They might root!

Did a bit of weeding on my strawberry beds, and a raised bed for growing beetroot and carrots
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Planted up Mrs B's hanging baskets.

While I was collecting comfrey for the above I picked a shed load more to mulch the mini fruit trees in the back yard.

Started topping up my butts from the canal, is that allowed?

First big veggie planting out day - gherkins, squash, pea beans, sweetcorn, dwarf French beans,  sunflowers plus a load of beetroot. And three sad turnips!

More weeding this evening, this time in the garden beside the spuds and the onions. Need to weed the onions in a few days when they have got a bit stronger. Weeded and dug over a raised bed I used last year for curly kale. I put some peat through it as it was very cloggy hopefully help loosen it up. I will need to add more compost to it and5hen dig it back into the soil. No idea what I will grow there. Watered the strawberries and the blueberries.

Managed to dig over the rock hard soil under the purloined climbing frame with a view to incorporate manure and leaf mould for beans and trombas.
Traipsed all the tenders out, then traipsed them all back again. This could be a dance for the next week or so. Forgot to sow the sweetcorn in the airing cupboard.

Looking at that link it states the below, given at most I'll be taking 100 litres a week I should be ok!

Taking water from a surface source (such as a river, stream or canal) or from an underground source is called abstraction. If you plan to take more than 20 cubic metres (20,000 litres) a day, you are likely to need an abstraction licence from the Environment Agency.

A chance would be a fine thing! We're on a hill so no water available to abstract. I'm envious of you for water and is it Spec that has access to seaweed.
