It may not as the postage stamps are changing to barcoded ones and all the ordinary stamps won't be usable. I guess the barcodes are a sneaky way of "franking" a stamp so that it can't be reused - not that we would do such a thing of course https://www.royalmail.com/sending/barcoded-stamps
