Cut slots into some of our newly acquired pipe and laid it into the only open ditch we have at the moment. Need the digger back before we can do the rest. Also put the finishing touches to my gate and gave it it’s first couple of coats of oil.

We got a yes to the wood and we now have ( after a bit of TLC and a few new parts )a working mill.

Impressive SC, when you said you'd bought a sawmill, that wasn't what came to my mind. I can understand your enthusiasm, a step forward for self sufficiency. How do you know how much cladding you need and whether you have enough wood?
