Did a bit of seed sowing and then started clearing the weeds and mole runs from the future tomato patch ready for a compost layer.
Has Anyone Seen the Plot?

Not much - took cuttings of 2 scented pelargoniums. (Should that be "pelargonia"?)

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

No, isn't that a bit of Welsh speaking Argentina?

I've sown some seeds, taken the compost out, potted up the three chilli seeds (across two varieties) that have germinated in my propagator so far (hoping for quite a few more to follow suit soon!), repotted my mint, watered my houseplants, and sown some very old walking onion bulbils that I came across (unlikely to grow but no disaster if they don't as I sowed most of the packet when I got them and do have a nice pot full of them at my parents).
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!

Oh, and I almost forgot - I have just bought some propagation trays from Container Wise. I bought 5 of the Charles Dowding 60 cell ones and then 3 other ones. They are all supposed to be good and sturdy, made from recycled polypropylene (and therefore also recyclable) and should last at least 10 - 15 years. If they do all that, they will be well worth the money, even the rather pricey postage!! I'm hoping they come soon and via a trackable delivery (for £8.99, I would hope so!) as I have some night shifts coming up and don't want to have to get up for a delivery.

I've been attacking a clump of bamboo that is threatening world domination. It'll have to be cut down before I can try digging up the roots. Try being the operative word. If anyone knows how to get rid of bamboo, please come to visit. Big Grin
The good news is, bamboo burns even when fresh - it make popping noises like fireworks. Also, I have enough bean sticks to last me forever.
