Completed a couple of my 7 Jobs for the week - washing clothes, cutting down brambles in chicken run (and got a bit carried away with the secateurs and attacked the "hedge" at the end of the garden), pruned more raspberries.
Good weather for gardening - as long as you have lots of layers on (clothes, not hens).
The Moneyless Chicken says:-
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

Shopping day and by the time I've done that and put it all away and had lunch not much else got done. Lovely day wasted. Did experiment with PC and tablet comparing Zoom, Messenger lite and Messenger. Got some lovely silly effects to P's image, he looks good with blue hair

More digging, this time in the pear tree bed. It's hard going - so many tree roots! - but I'm making progress. Might finish this bed tomorrow.

I was uo early this morning as I had to walk Kato before attending Rockfit at 10.00am.
Just like the thing, I slipped in the greasy field where I take him and did minor damage to a leg muscle on my other leg. I have just recovered from a torn quad muscle on my right leg!
Still went to Rockfit though and muscle problem hasn't worsened, Thank goodness. I wore my wrist weights for the first time and was pleased to see I managed the upper bodywork with them on. I wasn't getting puffed enough during Rockfit as with walking Kato a lot my leg muscles are strong, but my upper body needs work!
After Rockfit I went shopping. Grabbed a haggis and a swede for Burns night. I made the mistake of going to T*sco's and couldn't believe the prices, so put my list back into my pocket and shuffled over to one of the German supermarkets!

I spent a few hours yesterday and again today weeding my outdoor raised beds, adding compost and chicken manure pellets and dried seaweed getting them ready for planting onions and cabbages. Started tidying up the tunnel also, pulled up the last of the marigolds, and the chilli plants. I need to did the spuds to see what size they grew to, the stalks were killed earlier in the autumn by aphids so no idea what size, I’m kinda expecting marbles.
The garlic are doing well in the tunnel, but none of my cabbage seeds or beetroot seeds I sowed a few weeks ago are appearing .
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Mulched the beds I weeded yesterday.
Pruned a climbing rose over an arch and weeded the Arch bed.
Removed the poles from a collapsed tripod and tidied the passion flower that had been climbing over it into a heap. MrPP has been tasked with building a more sturdy obelisk from left over wood from the extension.
