Morning Fog, Cold and rain. Not the nicest of days. Forecast is below freezing tonight with Yellow warning of Fog again tomorrow and some sun in the afternoon. Yes please. Smile

Woke up to brilliant blue cloudless sky, but it is still below freezing. The cold bright days are far better than those damp dreary ones, aren't they?

Minus three last night, clear blue skies and washing load number three is already in the machine this morning (still working through the gite laundry from the Christmas holidays Sad ).
Thank you sun and solar panels who generate more energy when it's cold!

Hard frost this morning - I forgot to fleece my plants but by they all looked ok.

Lovely blue sky all day though my feet were freezing so I was in a little earlier than yesterday.

Bit of superficial ground frost this morning but didn't affect the plants. then the sun came out and it was nice just pottering - pulling up random monbretia that are growing again. Pesky things!!

Heavier frost this morning - a white car instead of a black one! Then the sun arrived and dried another line full of washing - that 3 in 2 days.
When I went out lunchtime - heading down hill and closer to the river and the sea, it was quite foggy. Made me quite glad to live on the hill.

Freezing here again and it lasted on the garden until lunch. I had the electrician here today to finish off the final electrics. I now have some light on the patio. It was very tricky to walk around to the garden doors in the dark.
The patio stones were still slippery with frost in the afternoon!

I did pop up to the greenhouse after lunch but although we had a lovely blue sky everything was still very cold.

Minus 5 last night, a bit misty as the sun came up and then blue skies, but chilly.

As above, but minus six this morning. High pressure due to stick around until the end of the month.
