Moving perennial kale?

Does anyone have any experience, time of year, success rate?

I've moved your thread from General discussion to Everything Brassicas..............as for moving perennial kale - too many unanswered questions - like what size/age are the plants and how much foliage do they have.
Personally, I've only transplanted kales from pots and buckets into the soil. Otherwise, they're far too well established to consider digging them up and moving them.

Was put in the ground last year, was about 6inches when I planted so that old.

Yes, but how big is it now?

Biggest 2 foot, a foot wide.

I got carried away last year with all things allotment and need to move things around now I've reviewed the beds

They currently reside in a bed that I want to be used for annuals.

I have taken cuttings so am happy to risk losing them if moved.

I would think that as long as you take a big enough rootball with it, and heel it in well there shouldn't be a problem?  PS Might be worth staking it until it establishes some new roots.
