Cleared the courgettes out of GH2. There were still a couple of small courgettes forming but I want to clear that side of the GH for a winter sowing of "I don't know what yet".
Potted up some more strawberry runners and put them in GH4.
Dried 2 lots of washing in the sun - nicest day for a while.

I did some potting up. I picked up some very cheap garden pinks and herbs from the clearance rack at my local garden centre so I gave them all a tidy up and planted in terracotta pots.
I also noticed some seed heads on my begonia in the hanging basket so I picked those and will have a little experiment over winter with sowing them.

Did some more GH clearance - some tomato plants are still laden with fruit - others have passed on to the Happy Hot bin for a long rest!
Sowed a random collection of old and saved seeds in the "Pretending I'm a gardener bed" at the end of the garden.

Started hacking through loads of brambles to recover an 8 x 12 greenhouse frame, looks like I have been lunch for the midges!

Spent a few hours hedge cutting today - holly, privet, hawthorn, bramble; lots of spiky stuff. Lots more (of the same) to do.

Shelled the beans drying in the coalhouse.
At the plot picked the last of the squashes and beans and lifted all the plants.
Some serious tidying up now required!
