Today we were helping tidy and sort at my parents house as they are moving soon. We were sorting the garage, and it became apparent that my dad has some duplicate tools in his collection. He has acquired over the years multiples of several things. Today I was lucky enough to be gifted these. They are he thinks my great grand father's on my paternal grandfathers side.
I reckon some wire wool, a sharpen and some oil and we should be good to go.

Lucky you! The old garden tools are so much better quality than today's stuff.

Im still using my Grandmothers fork! She died when I was 10 and now I’m approaching 80. I also have an onion hoe which came with the house I now live in, no ides how old that is but it is ancient. They don’t make them like they used to.

Think my favourite bit about the short handled shears is one of the handles has been replaced at some point quite a long time ago. I think the right handle is a replacement.

I have a couple of old slash hooks and pitch forks from my dad, they are really old. I also had an old mattax from him that I have passed to my son.
