Been expecting storms all day, so far all quiet. Hope that’s not the calm before the storm!

Yesterday a few spots of rain not enough to wet the ground, had some overnight/early morning rain its clear now but its supposed to be rain/thunder this afternoon.

Had a little rain through the night, or early this morning, but really not enough to soak the ground I have just lifted some potatoes and the soil is still bone dry

The rain and thunder/lightning has just stopped it was a bit earlier than met-offices prediction. Bright sunshine now

Just going out for a hair cut, and guess what, the heavens opened and it's continued like that for the rest of the day.

We have another weather warning for tonight - strong winds and heavy rain. It is raining now so they have that part right - hope they're wrong about the wind!
