Funny Jay and Moth mentioning sand, 2 yeas ago I was in Queensland Australia for a holiday, when we went walking on the beaches I could hear this squeaking noise, wife thought I was mad until I proved it. On investigation when I got home I discovered that there is a high content of silicone in the sand. Strange but true

I think it might actually be silica, I just did a google and seen this

That's probably because if two old folks are more than six feet apart, we can't hear each other, and probably can't see each other either.
