Watered greenhouses then weeded the leeks - about pencil thick now.

Enclosed a wood-edged bed with some freebie pet fencing - to keep the dogs and chooks out, not keep them in!
Planted some Jack Be LIttle pumpkins. Queensland Blue Squash and Muscat de Provence Squash (about 12 plants in total) inside the fence. The space between the plants was too great to ignore so I sowed rows of carrot and beetroot seed between the plants like a Square Foot Garden Bed. Carrots rows run North to South and Beetroot rows run West to East. Needless to say, the rows aren't straight and the squares aren't regular, but I don't care about such niceties.
Then I weeded in the Bean house and planted some undernourished chard seedlings that have been sitting in modules for too long!

I said goodbye to my beautiful wife who I married 47 years ago at 10.00 am today as COPD finally took her from me.

Rest In Peace Helen.

Vinny, words aren't enough, I'm so sorry, even though you might have expected it, it still doesn't lessen the feeling of loss. My sympathies to you and your family. God Bless Helen.

Really sorry for your loss Vinny, to have a life long partner for 47 years is so admirable. God bless you Helen and may you watch over your Vinny in his time of grief for you.
Rest in peace Helen.
