When walking round the garden today I was watching the bees going about the garden, they were darting in and out of the fuchsia, I also have some trailing begonias close by, though not fully open but made me wonder if anyone could tell me, do bees get pollen from flowers that don't set seeds?

Fuchsias set seed, begonias too. Bees have difficulty taking pollen from multi-petalled flowers as they can't reach the anthers.

They get something out of plants that don't seed. I have bocking 14 comfrey that doesn't set seeds which is always buzzing when it flowers.
