Well was expecting rain this morning but the sun is shining...not complaining!!
Compared to this time last year the weather has been dreadful, this time though it’s not just up here. The better weather has obviously gotten lost en route, hope it soon finds the right track.

We did have sun so opened up the gh and evicted the tenders after a forecast cold night (in reality it only went down to 5) but it is clouding over as I write. I hope yesterday's hard hail has finished. I'm getting right fed up with the gh shuffle, they're all going to have to stay out and lump it soon.
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework

Geordie living 'ower the watter'

Strange weather today. One minute its warm with glorious sunshine next it chucking it down with rain and freezing. Alternating between the two all day. I got soaked at allotment and had to dive into greenhouse for the worst of it. Once I realised it wasn't going to let up I made a mad dash to the car. Once I got home we have glorious sunshine again and the decking is steaming with the heat. 
Need to take the dog out soon and honestly don't know what to expect weatherwise? My auld boss used to say "You'll be alreet Son, ya skin is waterproof" That was when he was wanting me to go out and over mark football pitches in a blizzard!
