That's going to be incredible. It's at this stage you really have to have 'vision' to imagine the end product. Really looking forward to the progress pictures. Our lad is on the home stretch on his kitchen extension and has just taken delivery of his new oven and fridge freezer. As he's 6'4" in his stocking feet his criteria for a stand alone oven was to have the controls on the top so he didn't have to bend down to see them. I'd never thought of that (eye level oven wasn't an option).
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework

First time on this thread, the knowledge and talent for kitchen design on a gardening forum is incredible, the image conjured up of seating areas and widths required paints quite a picture and one definitely diffrent from what I had imagined, looking forward to seeing the completed work and possibly the final seating area in use, though possibly area is the wrong word to use

Me neither, at 5'5" I've always been the shorty of the family, and on occasion I've been made excessively aware of it!
