Just for you, Vinny.
Show us your tallest sunflower and let's try to grow one taller than Vinny's

I've got 12 growing and I'm hoping at least one of them will grow taller than me this time.

Mine have just sprouted leaves, but they are dwarf sun flowers so won’t win the highest.

I'm debating with myself whether to sow some specially for the competition. Two sides are warring, I don't need any sunflowers, nowhere to put them as they're growing or when they're tall. Then the competitive side kicks in. I think on the whole, as I'm way behind other's sowing dates I might just bow out of this one, but then again once I'm in the gh with the pkt of seeds I might relent. They don't call me wavy Mavis for nothing

Sounds like I'm in third place so far :p I bought a tall variety and a red/orange variety this year. I might even be clever enough to stake instead of letting my one proper flower get toppled by the wind this year.

I do like sunflowers I think they're happy looking plants I grow mine at the ends of bean and pea frames then the rest are randomly planted amongst the veg beds.

I found some regular sun flower seeds, so they are now planted
