Yesterday evening there was a small amount of digger juggling. One went away a bigger one brought in.
Today excavation on the actual house started  .
Wow that a big hole! It’s got to go a lot deeper yet !
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

The house is being built on a concrete raft instead of foundations isn't it SC? One hell of a lot of ready-mix concrete to come soon I would imagine.

Yeah concrete raft. Lots of metal work as well as concrete. Just to keep it interesting and more expensive .
A lot more gravel first!

Looking at what has been dug out you have a lot of peat there, so if you need to clear some space, just bring it down here, I have room for it

Started hulling away the dugout today.
The hole got a bit deeper today as well.

That’s big excavation, great sized dumper truck Excavator only 13 ton . Dumper is 9 ton.
