I retrieved a handful of stems off my rubbish compost heap (stuff that might grow again compost heap ).

not the best basket you will of ever seen. Only my second ever attempt at basket weaving. But you can definitely make baskets form vinca / periwinkle.

No thanks  Big Grin . I left some in the ground so I’ll have a forest of them again soon enough.

Found a new edible flower that's worth growing. Chinese Violet Cress. Real Seeds are hoping to offer seeds for sale next year but meanwhile, I've found another source and my order is in.
SC, you spotted it to on FB so I'll send you some seeds when mine arrive.
More info and pretty pictures at https://www.edimentals.com/blog/?tag=ory...-violaceus

Thank you veggie  Heart that’s very kind of you. They do look very interesting & pretty. I was looking forward to reel seeds stocking some of those in the autumn.

Quite a few people sell them - Chiltern, Sarah R but I've bought from a company I've not heard of before - https://www.worldwondersgardens.co.uk/
They have a few interesting seeds and they're not expensive. Also have a Ebay site and the reviews are mostly good.Wink I'm never sure how you can review seeds within a couple of weeks (apart from delivery and packing) as the important thing is how they grow!
