99p packets are 50p
Peas & beans are £1.50
All other seeds £1.

Aldi and Lidl have their garden stuff on sale - if not now, soon.
Lidl have fruit bushes £2 and 6 packs of strawberries. They must have seeds too!
Morrisons have big fruit trees £10.

Franchi are giving seeds to Schools. Nominate a school and they'll send them some seeds https://mailchi.mp/2e74be26c831/we-have-...xDhLM8gbnI
EDIT - All seeds have been taken! Apparently, Franchi were overwhelmed by requests and will send out as many as they can, but no more requests please.

Sainsburys - 40litre compost (Levingtons) £4 each or 3 for £9, is that any good?

Don't know whether this has been mentioned or not but Morrisons have five 40 litre bags of potting compost for a tenner, which seems canny to me. My five bags will be used for final potting of tomato plants.
Aldi have 'peat free' potting compost at £1.99 for 40 litres but I think its rubbish and will be used as a mulch on outdoor beds by me.

I grabbed the 5x40l of compost for a tenner at mozzas this morning, hopefully it's not garbage. I notice they had some little veg plants for sale too, I've not see that before. I saw some lettuce and swede 6 plants for £2, seems expensive to me but I must admit I've not bought veg plants before. As always the plant section there was swarming with fungus gnats.

Would you mind opening a bag of compost, please, as I'm thinking about buying some myself.
