Well done Jimmy fascinating as we don’t have woodpeckers in Ireland or if we do I’ve never seen or heard one.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Not that you can be really sure from the video but it looks like it's a female, as there is no red on the nape of its neck. Did you see any Jimny?

No red as far as I could see, we have seen them on feeders in previous years so wouldn't surprise me if they're local residents
