Yesterday it absolutely chucked it down around 11:30-12:00, turning our bare soil into a slippery quagmire, so I had to stop gardening and go indoors - I don't mind a few spots of rain, but not drenched-to-the-skin-in-minutes rain!
Fortunately it brightened up in the afternoon and we were able to move the compost delivery into the back garden. Hoping for better weather today, though I've mostly got indoor work planned (sowing seeds and pricking out).
How much veg and wildlife can I pack into a 6m x 8m garden in suburban Cambridge? Let’s find out!
