Yes I looked for lots of packs that had a good date range. Tomato seed generally will keep for several years, just germination may be a little slow/erratic. And then threw in a couple of old seeds of varieties that may interest a few. Several flowers, hoping everyone will grow some to encourage the bees.

I also sent a mixed bag of beans - I'm sure I've posted the photos on here of the bean seeds I often sow - so you will have a guessing game on your hands - but all are varieties that grow and dry well for me.

A Situation report (doesn't that sound official?)
There are 9 of us in the swap and I asked for 10 packets of each seed from you all - that would have been enough for 11 of us...............so, I'll have 2 packets of each seed left over.
The options are:-
Send you all a couple of duplicate packets
Keep them for a random swap later in the year
Throw them away (only joking).
I don't want to list them and invite requests as that's too much work - been there, had the hassle - but if someone had a special interest in growing say chillies or tomatoes, I could send them a job lot, but, I don't want to hang on to these seeds. They need to be sown not hoarded.

I'm open to any extra tomatoes, chillies or anything but quite happy for a random swap later . You go with the least work and bother for you.

Norfolk Grey - I see you loitering!!
Do you have any seeds to swap as I have 2 spare sets looking for gardens...................
Anyone else interested?
I'd need the seeds here ASAP as don't want to delay sending out those that I have for too long. Don't want the natives getting restless.

There's too much work to keep stashing them for someone who needs them - personally I would get rid of them now.
I loved doing the other thing - but it's too much work to expect someone to pop to the PO to send out seeds as and when someone requests them. Especially at the moment.

I’d be happy with extras of anything. Also in complete agreement with what’s been said, you do whatever is most convenient for you. I’ll be very happy to go along with anything.
