My Samsung android has a feature under 'advanced settings' to allow palm swipe to capture. All you have to do is sweep your hand across the tablet to get a screenshot. From what I remember pushing the two buttons simultaneously was a right old faff. Best of luck Spec.

Thank you for the advice I have tried both of the above and I can get a screen shot with Brens instructions as for getting one woth advanced settings I will give that a try when I find advanced settings on the computer

Don't despair Spec, not all tablets are the same - yours might not even have the facility, P's doesn't no matter how many times he throws it in a hissy fit.

On an iPhone to get a screen s hot you press the off button and the home button at the same time.
Though like Can says - you can email the photo /potato to yourself and resize that way.
Bloody Auto Correct - I often find VC randomly added in a sentence?!

I use an app on my android phone called "photo and picture resizer" which is free and easy to use for resizing and cropping pictures etc. It allows you to save a different file or overwrite the original with the resized image instead if you prefer.
