raspberries and beetroot.
200g raspberries, had 60g with same of red currants ffrom freezer drizzled with honey and topped with cream.
I don't think I'll be growing cylindra beetroot again. they grow too tall out of the ground and both mice and rats will eat them. I can earth up the round ones which seems to deter the varmints.

Well I picked my first one today, about a 1/4 the size of yours DJ but it's still a parsnip. I just bunged them in for an experiment this year so I'm looking forward to next year
Not sure if anyone can confirm what I read about the seeds, they need to be new each year??

Parsnip germination is hit or miss at anytime, fresh seed often produces better germination rates. Some people prefer to pre germinate before sowing
