Good job you spotted him, Bren. Smile
I SPY the occasional Hedgehog too usually late at night when the dogs find it snuffling about.

My H is Heron - another occasional visitor but one that I'd like to stay away. He cleared the pond of fish a couple of years ago.
For some unknown reason, every Heron in Cardiff is called Norman! Local people post things like "Saw Norman on the river" or "Norman was in the garden yesterday" and everyone knows its THE Heron................because there is only one Norman Heron. Smile

We check the traps a few times a day,  in all  8  rats have been caught  between us and next doors in the last couple of months.

I spy house sparrows tidying up the crumbs from lunch.
They live in the holes in the stone walls of our neighbour's house, but we're going to erect a little sparrow terrace box to give them some other options as one of the other neighbouring stone houses has recently been improved and no longer has holes (or much character, or damp!!!)

After you've decided what they are and how to pronounce the word, you can look at the link. Wink
